We could use some recycled k5 accounts over at k5...  that place is even deader than husi these days and while there have been rumors that rusty will be taking down the $5 paywall, nothing has happened. So I was thinking you guys could throw your old k5 names into the recycling bin for us, and we can get some new sign up over there. 

So we're all English speakers here..  and from what I can tell it's probably a fairly even split between the number of people in north america and the number of people in the UK. Maybe there's a few aussies and new zealanders...  and perhaps a select few expats or whatever in other countries still. 

 In light of hulver's recent brush with death in his Vauxhall Zafiri, one is lead to ponder if there's a plan for husi should hulver's life be cut tragically short?

 I don't have enough mojo to be able to see it, so it's bugging me that it's hidden. I'd like to either get modbombed into having enough mojo to see it or have it kindly unhidden - as i feel it was hidden unjustly anyway. And I'll make my case for that below:

Prop 1A. NO NO NO! If you want to fund something pay for it directly, don't borrow. Also, when was the last time you drove Hwy 5. It's totally uncongested and very efficient. A rail from norcal to socal is the dumbest way to alleviate traffic congestion and greenhouse gasses.

Prop 2. YES. It's a philosophical question. Do you believe animals have a basic right to move freely? And if so, is your pocket book more important than that right? I personally loathe greed. An ethical life may be a little more expensive than an unethical one, but what it comes down to for me is, what is a life worth living?

Do you think the salon is going about it right? I think they're acting too quickly to liquify their asset. This is a great opportunity to create a collector frenzy over the hair.  They could sell small locks at various price points..  maybe even a strand or two here and there for 20 dollars each.  The resulting pokemon collector card market would be a phenominon. Once people start collecting they go crazy. Then you'd retain half the hair for 10 years later when the britney breakdown hair fever is at its pinnacle.

In preperation for chinese new year i thought I'd write up some tips on how to speak Chinglish.  It's mostly in the grammar which will be illustrated in the dialog below, between myself and a native speaker of Cantonese "hkchick"

Like esperanto, chinglish is an international language that attempts to level the playing field. It uses primarily American English for vocab - though some cantonese as well..  and uses a lot of grammar from the sino family lanugages.

New vocab needed to "un" the dialog below:
un = understand
on 9 (on gao) = fucking stupid
jan/janar (jeng/jeng ah) = perfect
pat pat = ass

If you ever find yourself in China, you will see the most pathetic beggers you've ever seen.  Blind, deaf, mutilated, no appendeges, etc.  They look so sad and helpless that if you only have just a tiny shred of heart you'll feel compelled to give them a good chunk of change.  However by doing this you will be supporting a very fucked up business model.

I first went to K5 with this because they're a lil more USian overthere and being that hip hop originated in USia I figured they might be more educated and less prone to error when selecting a winner.

However, I'm confident that this battle is so unbalanced that the winner will be startingly clear even to laymans such as yourselves.

I only do this because Jave27 insists that I fabricated the K5 article because he didn't get to see it before it was voted down.  So, please HuSi enjoy this intense battle, and then cast your vote in the poll.

Also, if you could frontpage this it would be helpful to attract more eyes and thus get more voters!  It's appreciated... because afterall, what's a rap battle without an audience to score it eh?

Unlike kuro5hit, Hulver actually takes time to modify scoop in ways that are really convenient to readers.  I'd never request this brilliant feature if this was k5, but I have a feeling that many would like this feature here at HuSi.
